Amy Loudenbeck Endorsed by Wisconsin State Journal

Clinton, WI – October 25th, 2010– Amy Loudenbeck, first-time candidate for the 45th Assembly District, received the endorsement of the Wisconsin State Journal. The WSJ characterized Amy as “a tireless advocate for job growth in struggling Beloit and Rock County.”  They also recognized that Amy “understands regional cooperation and less red tape are keys to keeping and expanding local employers.”

“I am honored to have received this prestigious endorsement from the Wisconsin State Journal,” said Amy. “The editorial board recognizes that we need to restore a good base of family supporting jobs in the district. That is the number one goal of my campaign. Rock County’s key economic drivers include manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism. The next representative for the 45th must work to promote job growth in all sectors. I believe my diverse background, from firefighting to navigating regulatory policy, will help me do just that.”

Amy Loudenbeck helped businesses throughout her time at the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce, which lasted over seven years. Her roles included Executive Director of the Business Materials Exchange of Wisconsin (BMEx), Government Relations Director, Vice President, and Interim President. Loudenbeck vowed to take her experience helping small businesses to Madison where she will support legislation to jump start job creation in Rock County and the State of Wisconsin.

Amy believes that a representative's job is to do just that: represent their own district. She made that belief a central theme in her campaign with the slogan "Your District | Your Future."

The 45th Assembly District includes the City of Beloit, three wards in the City of Janesville, the Village of Clinton and seven Towns in eastern Rock and Walworth Counties.
